Sermorelin + GHRP-2 Blend
The old-school growth hormone stack in one vial. Cheap and it works, but the GHRP-2 half makes you hungry and nudges cortisol.
What it is
This blend pushes your own growth hormone through two doors at once, sermorelin on the GHRH side and GHRP-2 on the ghrelin side, for deeper sleep, faster recovery, and slow body-composition change. It is the budget version of CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin, and the trade is appetite: GHRP-2 makes you hungry, which is a gift if you are trying to gain and a problem if you are trying to cut.
The person this fits is a hardgainer or someone coming back from a layoff who wants recovery, sleep, and an appetite that shows up on cue, on a budget. It also suits older-school users who ran sermorelin from a clinic and want the GHRP kick added. It is the wrong blend for anyone cutting, anyone who already fights hunger at night, and anyone whose prolactin or cortisol is a known issue. Women tend to do better on the lower tier, and most women are better served by ipamorelin-based blends.
Night one: a flush and warmth within minutes, then a wave of hunger within the hour after the shot, which is why it goes in at bedtime. Sleep is heavier inside the first week. Weeks three to six: soreness clears faster, joints feel better in the morning, and if you are eating to the hunger the scale moves up. Weeks ten to sixteen: a modest shift toward more muscle and slightly less fat, with some water on top. It will not produce HGH-level change; it releases your own, in pulses, and the ceiling is your pituitary.
Dose 100 mcg of each subQ (just under the skin with an insulin needle) at bedtime on an empty stomach, five nights a week, 12 to 16 weeks, then 2 to 4 weeks off; 150 to 200 mcg of each is the working tier and 200 to 300 of each the top. GHRP-2's growth hormone response levels off around 100 mcg and the 1:1 ratio keeps the pair in step; pushing either past 200 mostly buys GHRP-2 side effects. Nothing but water for an hour before and half an hour after; carbs and fat blunt the pulse. The two nights off each week slow the fade, but over a full run the GHRP-2 side still loses some punch, and the 2 to 4 week break is what brings it back. A 5 mg plus 5 mg vial at 2 ml is 50 doses at 100 mcg each, so about ten weeks at the gentle tier and five at 200. The mistakes: dosing after a big dinner, running it seven nights at the top tier, and ignoring a libido dip, which is prolactin.
The science behind the pairing is solid and human: a GHRH peptide plus a GHRP releases far more growth hormone than either alone, and that has been shown in people repeatedly. Sermorelin was itself a prescription drug for years. What is also well documented is the GHRP-2 cost: it raises cortisol and prolactin and drives appetite more than ipamorelin. Nobody has run an outcomes trial of this blend in healthy adults, so the recovery and body-composition claims are extrapolated from the hormone data. Promising but not proven for outcomes, with real human data for the mechanism.
If you can afford it and you are not trying to gain, CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin is the same idea with the hunger and cortisol dialed out, and it is what most people should buy. If appetite is the goal, GHRP-6 is even hungrier. If you want belly fat specifically, tesamorelin has the human data. Skip this blend with diabetes, a cancer history, or high prolactin.
What people use it for
A bigger pulse together
Some evidenceHuman studies giving a GHRH peptide and a GHRP together show growth hormone release well beyond either alone, because they act on different receptors and GHRP-2 also lifts the brake somatostatin puts on the pituitary. This synergy is the reason the blend exists and the best-supported thing about it.
Recovery and body composition
Early daysHigher growth hormone and IGF-1 are what the recovery and lean-mass interest rides on, and sermorelin has clinic history behind it, but no trial has measured outcomes on this blend in healthy adults. Expect modest, slow change with water on top, and more if you are eating to the appetite.
The GHRP-2 cost
Some evidenceHuman studies document that GHRP-2 raises cortisol, prolactin, and appetite in proportion to dose, clearly more than ipamorelin. This is a repeated finding, it is the reason modern blends swapped GHRP-2 out, and it is why the top tier here stops at 300 mcg.
How people use it
Safety, in brief
Things people sometimes notice
- Real hunger within the hour after the shot, which is the GHRP-2 half working
- A flush and warmth for a few minutes after dosing
- Redness or a small bump where you inject
- Mild water retention and tingly hands in the first two weeks at the higher tiers
