CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
The starter growth hormone stack: deeper sleep in a week, better recovery by week four, slow body-composition change. Cheap to run.
What it is
This is the pair most people run first when they want more of their own growth hormone: better sleep, faster recovery between sessions and a gradual lean-out. It costs little per night and is easy to tolerate. What it will not do is move fat or IGF-1 the way tesamorelin or real HGH does.
The typical user is 35 or older, training consistently, sleeping badly and recovering slowly, who wants a growth-hormone nudge without injecting HGH. It also suits people on TRT who notice their recovery has not kept up with their strength. It is a poor choice if your main goal is belly fat (tesamorelin does that better) or appetite control (ipamorelin can make you hungry).
The first thing most people notice is sleep: deeper, with more vivid dreams, within the first week. Morning soreness eases by weeks three to four. Skin and nails come along around week six. Body composition is the slow one: a modest lean-out and a bit more fullness in the muscles by weeks eight to twelve, and only if training and food are in order. A reasonable expectation is to look a little tighter, not transformed. If you feel nothing at all by week four, check your timing and food before blaming the vial.
Women start at 200 mcg of each, men at 300 mcg, with 500 mcg as the ceiling. Take it fasted right before bed, at least 90 minutes after your last food, because carbs and fat blunt the pulse. Some people add a second shot on waking, also fasted. The mixing card uses 1 ml of bacteriostatic water in the 5 mg + 5 mg vial, so 200 mcg of each is 4 units; some people use 3 ml instead, which makes the same dose 12 units and easier to read. At 200 mcg of each, a 10 mg vial is roughly 25 nights, so a 12 to 16 week cycle is about four to five vials, which is why this is the budget GH stack. The body-composition protocol costs far more: at 300 to 500 mcg of each twice a day, a 10 mg vial lasts only 5 to 8 days, so the same 12 to 16 weeks takes roughly 11 to 23 vials. Expect a brief flush or head rush in the first minutes; it fades after the first few nights. Run 12 to 16 weeks, then 2 to 4 weeks off: the pituitary gets less responsive with months of steady stimulation, and the break keeps the response sharp and lets IGF-1 and blood sugar settle. If it is still clearly working, there is no need to stop on an exact week. The two common mistakes are eating too close to the shot, and buying CJC-1295 with DAC thinking it is the same thing (it is not; DAC runs for days and flattens the pulse pattern).
Each component is well characterized in people: GHRH analogs and ipamorelin both reliably raise GH pulses in human studies, and the GHRH-plus-GHRP combination gives a larger release than either alone. What has not been studied is this blend, at these doses, for months, in healthy adults chasing body composition. So the mechanism is solid and the outcome data is mostly experience. It is not an approved medicine.
If visceral fat is the target, go straight to tesamorelin or the tesamorelin + ipamorelin blend; this pair will disappoint you there. If you are over 50 and want a durable GH effect, low-dose HGH is the more honest tool and often cheaper per month than tesamorelin. If you have diabetes, any GH secretagogue needs your glucose watched closely; if you have had cancer, skip the whole class, because they all raise IGF-1.
What people use it for
Growth hormone release
Some evidenceGHRH analogs (CJC-1295 without DAC is the modified GRF 1-29 sequence) and ipamorelin each raise GH in human studies, and giving a GHRH with a GHRP produces a larger, more reliable pulse than either alone. That part is well established. What is not established is the long-term outcome of nightly use in healthy adults.
Sleep and recovery
Some evidenceGH pulses cluster in deep sleep, and taking the pair at bedtime reinforces that pattern; deeper sleep and faster recovery are the most consistent user reports and fit the physiology. There is no controlled trial of this blend for sleep, so the evidence is mechanism plus experience.
Body composition
Early daysSecretagogues raise IGF-1 modestly, and IGF-1 over months supports muscle and fat changes when training and diet are in place. In practice the lean-out is small compared with tesamorelin or HGH. Expect a tighter look over 12 weeks, not a measurable fat-loss number.
What's inside
How it works
- Pairs two complementary ways to raise your own GH
- Popular for sleep, recovery, and body composition
- Each part has early human data; the combo is not approved
- A common first GH stack because Ipamorelin keeps side effects low
How people use it
Safety, in brief
Things people sometimes notice
- A warm flush or brief head rush in the first minutes after the shot
- Vivid dreams and heavier sleep
- Water retention or puffy hands in the first weeks
- Hunger from the ipamorelin
