Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin dosage and reconstitution
Tesamorelin's belly-fat power with a smaller tesa dose, thanks to ipamorelin's pulse. Fasted, before bed; pricey; blood sugar to watch.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- Flushing and a sting at the injection site the first nights
- Water retention and puffy hands in the first weeks
- Joint aches, especially mornings
- Vivid dreams and heavier sleep
- Hunger from the ipamorelin
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Tingling or numbness in the hands that does not go away (carpal-tunnel type), which means the dose is too high
- Thirst, frequent urination or blurry vision, the signs of rising blood sugar
- Swelling that keeps building
- Hives, swelling of the face or trouble breathing
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You have diabetes or prediabetes; tesamorelin raised glucose and HbA1c in some trial participants, and your dosing should be guided by a meter
- You have cancer now or have had it. These peptides push growth and repair signals, so this is a hard stop, not a judgment call.
- You have a pituitary condition or had pituitary surgery or radiation; GHRH analogs act on the gland directly
- You are pregnant or nursing; no data
Mixing it
The common 16 mg vial is 13 mg Tesamorelin plus 3 mg Ipamorelin in one powder. Mixed with 3 ml of bacteriostatic water it is about 5.3 mg/ml total, so 10 units holds roughly 0.43 mg Tesamorelin and 0.1 mg Ipamorelin. A 1.25 mg total draw (about 23 units) delivers the usual 1 mg of Tesamorelin. A 10 mg vial is usually an even 5 + 5 split, so pick that size in the calculator; the numbers change.
Bring the vial to room temperature and clean the top.
Add bacteriostatic water per the label and confirm with the calculator.
Swirl gently, do not shake.
Take at night on an empty stomach.
Store in the fridge. Use within about 2 to 3 weeks once mixed.
