CJC-1295 (No DAC)

The short-acting half of the classic GH pair. 100 mcg at bedtime, fasted, with ipamorelin; a bigger shot than that is wasted.

What it is

CJC-1295 without DAC gives your pituitary a quick push to release its own growth hormone pulse, then clears in about half an hour. On its own it does little you will notice; paired with ipamorelin it is the standard route to deeper sleep, faster recovery and a slow lean-out.

This is for someone who wants the growth hormone (GH) benefits, better sleep, faster recovery, a slow shift toward leaner, without injecting GH itself. It is nearly always bought as the GHRH half of a pair with ipamorelin, and buying it alone makes sense only if you want to set the two amounts separately or already have ipamorelin on hand. People in their late thirties and up who train, sleep badly and recover slowly are the typical users. Anyone hoping for a muscle-building drug will be disappointed; this nudges your own system rather than replacing it.

Sleep is the first thing people notice, often within the first week: deeper, with vivid dreams, when it is taken at bedtime. Recovery and joint comfort follow over three to four weeks. Body composition changes are slow and modest, two to three months of a cleaner midsection and a bit more fullness, and only if diet and training are already in place. It will not add muscle on its own or move the scale quickly; if fat loss is the goal, a GLP-1 does in a month what this does in a season.

Dose it at 100 mcg per shot, subQ, on an empty stomach: nothing for 30 minutes before or after, and no carbs or fat within about 90 minutes. The receptors it hits are full at roughly 100 mcg (about 1 mcg per kg), so a 200 or 300 mcg shot gives nearly the same pulse and wastes peptide; if you want more, add a second 100 mcg shot in the morning or after training, not a bigger one. Bedtime is the shot that matters because it rides your natural nighttime pulse. Draw it into the same syringe as ipamorelin. A 5 mg vial is 50 shots at 100 mcg, about seven weeks once a day, which makes it one of the cheaper things to run. Run 8 to 12 weeks, then 2 to 4 weeks off; there is little hard evidence the GHRH side wears out, so the break is mostly a chance to recheck IGF-1 and blood sugar and see what is real. The named mistakes are dosing after a meal and doubling the dose instead of the frequency.

The human evidence mostly belongs to its relatives: sermorelin, the near-identical older GHRH fragment, and the DAC version, which has a 2006 trial showing sustained GH and IGF-1 rises. The No-DAC molecule itself has little direct trial data, so we grade it animal 2, human 1 on thin direct data. The GHRH-plus-GHRP synergy is well documented in endocrinology. Honest read: the mechanism is real and well understood, and the body-composition benefits in healthy adults are modest and mostly reported rather than measured.

If you only want to run one vial, buy the CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin blend; it is the same thing premixed. If you want convenience over physiology, CJC-1295 DAC is one or two shots a week at the cost of a flatter, less natural GH curve. If deep belly fat is the specific goal, tesamorelin has the trial data. And with a cancer history or uncontrolled diabetes, skip the GH family altogether.

What people use it for

Growth hormone release

Some evidence

GHRH analogs reliably trigger a GH pulse from the pituitary; that is textbook endocrinology, not a research claim. The No-DAC molecule clears in about 30 minutes, so your feedback loop stays intact. Direct trial data for the No-DAC form is thin; the DAC version and sermorelin carry most of the human numbers.

Sleep and recovery

Early days

Deeper sleep is the most consistent user report, because the bedtime shot amplifies the natural nighttime GH pulse. No controlled trial in healthy adults has measured it for this peptide. Expect it within a week if it is going to happen at all.

Body composition

Early days

GH raises IGF-1, which over months favors a bit less fat and slightly fuller muscle. For GHRH peptides in healthy adults this is modest and mostly self-reported; the clear fat-loss trials belong to tesamorelin. Plan on two to three months before judging.

Keeping your own GH system switched on

Some evidence

Unlike injecting GH, a short-acting GHRH leaves the pituitary's feedback intact and does not shut down your own production. That is the main reason people choose this route over GH itself. It is also why the effect is gentler and slower.
