CJC-1295 DAC dosage and reconstitution
The once-a-week growth hormone peptide. Convenient and real, but the signal never switches off, and your hands will tell you.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- Water retention: a puffy face in the morning, a tighter ring, a pound or two on the scale
- Tingling or thick-feeling hands, especially on waking, the sign of fluid around the wrist nerves
- Flushing or warmth for an hour after the shot
- A dull headache for a day or two after each dose
- Heavier, more vivid sleep
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Numbness or tingling in the hands that does not clear by midday; that is carpal tunnel pressure, and it gets worse, not better, if you push on
- Joint swelling or ankle swelling that is still there after a week at the lower dose
- Hives, swelling of the face or lips, or trouble breathing
- Rising fasting blood sugar on a home meter
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You have cancer now or have had it. These peptides push growth and repair signals, so this is a hard stop, not a judgment call.
- You have diabetes or prediabetes; growth hormone lowers insulin sensitivity, and continuous elevation does it more than pulses
- You have carpal tunnel, sleep apnea, or heart failure; fluid retention makes all three worse
- You are pregnant, nursing, or trying to conceive
Mixing it
Here is the math for a 2 mg vial mixed with 1 ml of bacteriostatic water.
Let the vial reach room temperature and wipe both vial tops with an alcohol swab.
Draw 1 ml of bacteriostatic water into the syringe.
Push the water in slowly against the side of the glass, not onto the powder.
Swirl gently until dissolved, do not shake.
Store it in the fridge. Once mixed it stays good for about 3 to 4 weeks.
