Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- A little redness where you inject
- A temporary dip or surge in energy in the first week as it settles
- Mild stomach upset for some
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Hives, swelling or trouble breathing
- Shakiness, sweating or confusion that looks like low blood sugar, especially if you take diabetes medicine
- Any reaction that spreads or worsens
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You take insulin or other glucose-lowering drugs; MOTS-c improves glucose uptake and can push you low alongside them
- You have a mitochondrial or metabolic disorder under treatment; it acts directly on those pathways
- You are pregnant, nursing or trying to be; no data
Mixing it
