AOD-9604 dosage and reconstitution
A gentle fat-loss shot for the last stubborn pounds. Subtle, no blood sugar hit, and famously annoying to mix.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- A small red bump or itch where you inject, gone in a day
- A mild headache in the first week for some people
- Occasional queasiness if you inject fasted and then eat a big meal
- Cloudy or gelled liquid in the vial, which is a mixing problem, not a side effect
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Hives, swelling of the face or lips, or trouble breathing
- A reaction at the injection site that spreads or gets worse each dose
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You take diabetes medicines; it should not move blood sugar, but have your numbers tracked so nothing stacks unseen
- You are pregnant, nursing, or trying to conceive; there is no data at all here
- You have a history of an eating disorder; a fat-loss tool is the wrong place to put your energy
Mixing it
Heads up: AOD-9604 is very finicky to reconstitute, expect gelling or cloudiness. Use 2 mg or 5 mg vials (avoid 10 mg), add the max water (~3 ml) of Hospira pharmaceutical-grade water, and swirl gently.
Bring the vial to room temperature and clean the top.
Add 3 ml of bacteriostatic water slowly, down the side of the vial.
Swirl gently, do not shake.
Take once a day on an empty stomach.
Store in the fridge. Use within about 3 to 4 weeks once mixed.
