Selank + Semax dosage and reconstitution
Semax for drive and Selank for calm, half and half in one vial. Felt the same day; the pair is unstudied, but each is a Russian medicine.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- Nasal sting or a runny nose after a spray
- Headache or restlessness in the first few days, from the Semax half
- Trouble falling asleep if dosed after early afternoon
- A flat or slightly tired feeling for some, from the Selank half
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Agitation, racing thoughts or insomnia that does not settle at 600 mcg
- A low mood that gets worse rather than better over two weeks
- Signs of an allergic reaction
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You have bipolar disorder, psychosis or a seizure disorder; activating nootropics can tip those
- You take an antidepressant, an anxiety medicine or a stimulant, because the effects add up
- You are pregnant, nursing or considering this for a child
Mixing it
Here is the math for a 20 mg vial (10 mg Selank + 10 mg Semax) mixed with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water: 10 mg/ml total, so 10 units on a U-100 syringe is 1 mg of blend, 500 mcg of each peptide. For a nasal spray, the same solution in a metered bottle gives roughly 1 mg per 0.1 ml spray.
Let the vial reach room temperature and wipe both tops with an alcohol swab.
Add 2 ml of bacteriostatic water slowly against the glass. Swirl, do not shake.
Draw 6 units for a gentle dose, 10 units for the standard 1 mg.
Take it in the morning; Semax late in the day can cost you sleep.
Store in the fridge and use within about 4 weeks once mixed.
