Adamax
A longer-lasting cousin of Semax people spray for focus and drive. Felt the same day; the evidence is borrowed, so start at 100 mcg.
What it is
Adamax is for someone who liked what Semax did for their focus but found it gone by lunch. One morning spray is meant to carry most of the day; expect a clearer head within the hour and a steadier mood over two to three weeks.
The person who reaches for Adamax has usually already run Semax and liked it, but found the lift wore off by early afternoon. Adamax is Semax with an acetyl group and an adamantane cage added, which slows how fast the brain breaks it down. It is a focus and drive peptide for long work days, exam blocks and climbing out of a burnout slump, not a sleep or anxiety tool. If you have never tried Semax, start there: it is cheaper, better studied, and tells you whether this family does anything for you at all.
Most people feel the Semax family within an hour of a nasal dose: a quieter head, easier to start tasks, less need for the second coffee. The Adamax claim is that one morning dose carries most of the day, where plain Semax is spent in three to four hours. Over two to three weeks some people describe a steadier mood under stress. It will not make you smarter, and it will not cover for sleep debt; on five hours of sleep it mostly makes you a wired person on five hours.
Spray it once in the morning: 100 mcg for the first week, then 250 mcg if that felt like nothing. 400 mcg is the ceiling and most people never need it. The named mistake is dosing after about 2 pm; it shows up as insomnia, not as a better evening. Keep a run to 8 weeks at most, then take 2 to 4 weeks off, because the lift fades with daily use and the break brings it back; if it fades sooner, take the break then. A 10 mg vial is 40 doses at 250 mcg, about six weeks, so a full 8-week run takes two vials; that is cheap per day if it works for you and a waste if it does not.
There is no human study of Adamax. Everything, including the all-day duration claim, is borrowed from Semax (a registered medicine in Russia with small clinical trials) and from user reports. We grade it animal 1, human 0, which is honest: the molecule is plausible, the specific claims are untested. Treat your first run as the experiment it is and keep notes on when the effect fades.
Skip it if you have not tried Semax, if you already take a stimulant for ADHD, or if anxiety is your main problem; Selank is the calm half of this family and the better pick there. Check the label too. Vendors sell two products under the name: one listed at about 1032 Da, the adamantane structure this page describes, and one listed at about 984 Da whose structure vendors do not document. Ask for the mass and a certificate of analysis before you dose.
What people use it for
Focus and mental drive
Early daysNo trial has tested Adamax itself. Semax has small Russian clinical studies in cognitive recovery and animal work on BDNF, the growth signal for brain cells, and Adamax inherits that story plus a stability tweak. In practice people report the same clean focus as Semax lasting longer, but that is self-report from people who paid for it.
Mood under stress
Early daysSemax-family peptides are studied for mood and resilience in animals and in small Russian clinical groups. Adamax users describe a calmer baseline after a few weeks, with no human data to confirm it. The flip side is real: overstimulation and irritability are the most common complaints, usually from dosing too high or too late.
How long one dose lasts
Early daysThe selling point is a 12 to 14 hour effect from the adamantane cage. No pharmacokinetic study in people exists to back that number. Take it in the morning and judge the afternoon yourself; if you still feel it at 4 pm, the claim holds for you, and if you are flat by 1 pm you have bought expensive Semax.
