Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- Nausea for 20 to 30 minutes, sometimes longer, especially after food or alcohol
- Flushing in the face and chest within the first half hour
- A headache, or a migraine if you are prone to them
- A small rise in blood pressure for a few hours; you will not feel this one
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Chest pain, a pounding headache or vision changes, which can mean blood pressure has spiked
- Fainting or dizziness that does not pass when you sit down
- Vomiting that will not stop, or a rash with swelling
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You have high blood pressure or any heart disease: it raises blood pressure every time, and the approved version is contraindicated for uncontrolled hypertension
- You take blood pressure medicines, because the two pull in opposite directions
- You use Viagra, Cialis or similar, since both affect blood pressure and the combination has not been studied
- You have many moles, a history of melanoma, or you are pregnant; pigment effects and no pregnancy data
Mixing it
Here is the math for a 10 mg vial mixed with 1 ml of bacteriostatic water, taking a 1 mg dose.
Bring the vial to room temperature and clean the top.
Add 1 ml of bacteriostatic water slowly.
Swirl gently, do not shake.
Take it as needed before intimacy, not daily. Start low to gauge nausea.
Store in the fridge. Use within about 3 to 4 weeks once mixed.
