BPC-157 dosage and reconstitution
The peptide people reach for when a tendon, joint or gut problem has stopped healing on its own. Daily shots near the spot, 4 to 8 weeks.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- A small red bump or sting where you inject, gone in a day
- Feeling a bit tired or flat in the first week
- Mild lightheadedness right after a shot
- A slight change in appetite
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Rash, swelling of the face or lips, or trouble breathing (an allergic reaction)
- Pain at the injury that gets steadily worse instead of better
- Heart fluttering or chest discomfort
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You have cancer now or have had it. These peptides push growth and repair signals, so this is a hard stop, not a judgment call.
- You take blood thinners, since it affects the blood vessel and clotting side of healing
- You are pregnant or nursing. It has never been studied in that setting
Mixing it
Peptides arrive as a dry powder you mix with sterile water before the first use. Here is the math for a 10 mg vial mixed with 1 ml of bacteriostatic water, taking a 500 mcg dose.
Let the vial come to room temperature and wipe the tops of both vials with an alcohol swab.
Draw 1 ml of bacteriostatic water into the syringe.
Push the water in slowly, aiming it at the side of the glass, not straight onto the powder.
Swirl gently until it dissolves. Do not shake it.
Keep it in the fridge. Once mixed, it stays good for about 3 to 4 weeks.
