Gonadorelin dosage and reconstitution
Three tiny shots a week that keep your testicles working while you are on testosterone. Not a testosterone booster on its own.
Staying safe
Things people sometimes notice
- A small sore spot or redness where you inject
- A brief headache or flushing in the hour after a dose
- Mood or libido swings in the first weeks as LH and testicular output come back online
Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)
- Rash, hives, swelling or trouble breathing after a dose
- Testicular pain or a lump; the goal is size returning, not pain, and a lump needs an exam
- Breast tenderness or swelling that keeps building, which means estrogen is climbing and the plan needs adjusting
Talk to your doctor first, especially if
- You are on TRT, because the dose, your estrogen and your LH response should be read against bloodwork by whoever manages the testosterone
- You are trying to conceive or have a low sperm count, since HCG or HMG may be the better tool and an FSH and LH check decides that
- You have a pituitary condition, a history of hormone-sensitive cancer, or you take other hormone medicines, because this drives the whole sex-hormone chain
Mixing it
Gonadorelin comes as a dry powder you mix with bacteriostatic water before first use. Doses are small, so measuring carefully matters. Use the calculator for your exact vial size.
Let the vial reach room temperature and wipe the top with an alcohol swab.
Add bacteriostatic water per your vial size.
Swirl gently until dissolved. Do not shake.
Store in the fridge once mixed.
Because doses are tiny, draw carefully and double-check your units.
