Staying safe

Things people sometimes notice

  • A little redness where you inject
  • Vivid dreams and a shifted sense of when you are tired, in the first week
  • Mild drowsiness in the afternoon for some

Stop and get help if (trouble breathing or swelling: call 911)

  • Hives, swelling or trouble breathing
  • Sleep getting clearly worse rather than steadier after a week (try moving the dose earlier first)
  • Any reaction that spreads or worsens

Talk to your doctor first, especially if

  • You take melatonin or prescription sleep medicine; the effects stack and you may want to drop the sleep aid during a cycle
  • You have a hormone-sensitive cancer; it acts on an endocrine gland and nobody has studied it alongside cancer treatment
  • You are pregnant, nursing or trying to be; no data

Mixing it

Here is the math for a 10 mg vial mixed with 1 ml of bacteriostatic water, taking a 0.5 mg dose.

Bring the vial to room temperature and clean the top.

Add 1 ml of bacteriostatic water slowly.

Swirl gently until dissolved.

Inject subcutaneously (subQ) once a day through the cycle.

Store in the fridge. Use within the cycle, then take a long break.
